Delete your Datana account

Request deletion of your Datana account and associated data. Available in the mobile app, on the web, or by email — no app install required to start a request.

About this page

Datana (package name com.datana.app on Google Play, and getdatana.com on the web) lets you create an account. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and associated data — including if you have uninstalled the app.

Delete in the mobile app

If you still have the Datana app installed and can sign in:

  • Open Datana and sign in
  • Go to Profile
  • Tap Delete account and confirm

Delete on the web

If you use Datana in a browser: sign in at https://getdatana.com, open your account settings, and use the account deletion option when available — or email us using the request method below.

Request deletion by email (no app required)

Email [email protected] with:

  • Subject line: Account deletion request
  • The email address on your Datana account
  • Optional: any Google Play order IDs if you subscribed or bought credit packs

What we delete

When we process a deletion request, we remove or anonymize data associated with your account, including:

  • Account profile data (name, email, credentials)
  • Uploaded datasets and related files we store for your account
  • Analysis jobs, insights, chat history, and generated reports tied to your account
  • In-app billing profile and usage records we store on our servers

What we may retain

We may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or legal compliance (for example payment/transaction identifiers processed by Google Play or other payment providers). We do not keep your account active or usable after deletion.

Subscriptions and timing

  • If you have an active Google Play subscription, cancel it in Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions) so billing stops; deleting your Datana account does not always cancel Play billing by itself
  • We aim to complete account and associated data deletion within 30 days of a verified request
  • You may receive a confirmation email when the request is processed
